A Coupled Structure-Function Evaluation Method for GI Construction Suitability of Shrinking Urban Vacant Land: A Case Study of Hegang, China

Suitability evaluation of shrinking urban geographical indication planning is a very important research problem. By constructing the coupling evaluation model of structure and function, the scientific evaluation result can be improved. In this paper, Hegang is selected as a case to apply the coupling evaluation model. We show the construction logic of the coupling model and propose the strategy based on the evaluation results. This paper verifies the effectiveness of the evaluation model and provides a basis for the GI planning of Hegang City by checking the planning results.
