This study reveals how video game landscapes serve as both reflections of and critiques on real-world socio-economic and cultural issues, offering insights for inclusive design practices in landscape architecture. By examining games like The Legend of Zelda, Tomb Raider, and Fallout, this study highlights how virtual environments engage with real-world issues such as inequality, privilege, and cultural representation. The concept of “Boundaries of Perfection” is used to analyze how invisible walls in games mirror systemic barriers in society, limiting access to resources and reinforcing exclusivity. Additionally, the paper investigates how immersive game design creates educational value through emotional connection and interactivity, offering insights for landscape architecture. By integrating technological advancements with socio-cultural narratives, video games emerge as powerful tools for reimagining inclusive and interactive spaces, bridging the gap between virtual worlds and realworld design practices.
