Artificial Intelligence, Program Structure and Programming in Design Processes: In an Urban Context in Malta

This work delves into a digital study of a design process within an urban context in Malta. Throughout the entirety of the project, there is a primary focus on exploring a selection of architectural programs, programming, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). These facets pertain to analyses, design processes, as well as visualisation and animation. The analysis section is subdivided into a bus route analysis, urban densification analysis, and distance analysis. The design process considers two distinct approaches. In visualisation and animation, the urban context is addressed, with focus on the theme of water visualisation. Advantages and disadvantages, peculiarities, limitations as well as solution approaches are identified and thoroughly evaluated.
