Crowdbasierte Biodiversitätserfassung − Entwicklung eines Prototypen mit Open-Source-Software

Crowd Based Biodiversity Survey – Development of a Prototype with Open Source Software

A web service was developed in the project “Biodiversity” to gain an overview about regional animals and plants. It was implemented with open source software and offers the opportunity to report seen species with location and date. This is intended to raise awareness for native flora and fauna among the population and should give information about commonness and occurrence of the different species.
