Klassifikation von Mobile-Mapping-Punktwolkenauf Basis maschineller Lernalgorithmen

Classification of Mobile-Mapping-Pointclouds Based onMachine Learning Algorithms

Today's mobile mapping vehicles are able to ensure a comprehensive coverage of transportinfrastructure. In addition to high-resolution cameras, laser scanners are often used, which record both the road and the light space of the vehicle. As a result, not only the road but also the area to the side of the roadway can be detected. The aim of this work is the investigation of possibilities for the classification of these laser scanner point clouds by means of a self-defined classification key with regard to automation that can be carried out to a certain extent. Essential object classes are roads, trees and buildings. The classification is initially based on the extraction of meaningful features and the subsequent training of individual classifiers.
