Ein besseres Verständnis über die Wirkungszusammenhänge zwischen dem Ausmaß der Radmobilität und den jeweils bestehenden Rahmenbedingungen ist für die Förderung des Radverkehrs von besonderer Wichtigkeit. Hierbei nimmt die Untersuchung der Erreichbarkeitsverhältnisse sowie der infrastrukturellen Ausstattung eine wichtige Rolle ein. Mit einem neuen Ansatz wurden Erreichbarkeitsindikatoren und Informationen zur Radinfrastruktur zu einem Indikator verknüpft und dessen Wirkung (gemeinsam mit weiteren Faktoren) auf den Radverkehrsanteil mittels eines mathematisch- statistischen Modells untersucht.

A better understanding of interdependencies between the extent of cycling mobility and the prevailing conditions is of particular importance for the promotion of cycling. Here, the investigation of accessibility conditions and infrastructural equipment plays an important role. With a new approach, accessibility indicators and information on the bicycle infrastructure were combined into an indicator and its effect (along with other factors) on the cycling share was examined by means of a mathematicalstatistical model.
